Best Moments on TV of 2022

According to Metacritic, Severance (2022) on Apple TV+ is the most acclaimed series on television. Among the top shows, there's Better Call Saul on AMC, Barry on HBO, Reservation Dogs on FX, Abbott Elementary on ABC, The Bear on FX and The White Lotus on HBO. We've been so bombarded with programs over the past year that it's difficult to keep up with everything, so many shows have been overlooked, even though I consume a lot.

Even with all that content, two of my favorite shows are ones on traditional broadcast channels. Most broadcast networks pump out police procedural programs, medical or legal dramas that can be very rote. Of course, there are certain procedural programs that can be engaging, even after 20 years. Such is the case with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
